Green Net 09, Green meets Tech, SF Sold out

Green Net 09… IS already sold out. The conference is happing monday in SF.  Its adressed at green IT and tech practices and fighting for green/climate change. I don't even have an extra couple of hundred dollars lying around for the cost of the ticket. But I sure wish I was there. http://events.earth2tech.com/greennet/09/schedule/

The speakers feature an all star line up like Rob Bernard (CES , microsoft) , IBM's Vp of Energy and environment, and an opening adress from MR Newsom himself (someone should tell him that using that much hairspray has some effect on global warming. LOL.  You can bet that google and yahoo would send some of there people. Oh and it Bob Metcalfe. Im really suprised that they didnt have anyone from green 960 radio would have been a perfect partnership. I even seen a JP morgan rep mentioned.. so where the hell is george lucas, ebay, adobe, blizzard and the rest. I really commend this cause and hopefully it will lay the groundwork for change in the IT, tech sectors. The only thing I'm sort of dissapointed in is that I havent seen many of the "BIG SHOT" Silicon Valley, or Ca tech companies being prime sponsors or sponsors at all.  I mean intel is just in Sac. and you have. So many big boys out near SV. ADOBE, I thought they were down? Blizzard enterntainment in mountain view.. Come on Blizzard 9 million subscribers and you cant sponsor a green conference.. TSK TSK.
